Taoism



Taoism is a philosophy that originated in Ancient China and has influenced many countries across the globe. The word "Tao" or "Dao" means "the way" or "path." Taoists' ultimate goal is to find inner peace with oneself and to be free of material desires. The followers tend to implore nature, constantly reflect on themselves, and overall live simpler lives. Meditation is a huge part of self-relfection as well and helps the followers free themselves from selfish wants. The Yin Yang

The Yin Yang is a symbol that depicts the encountering of the good and the bad. In the black domain, there is a small white dot that shows how there is always a little good in the bad. In the white domain, there is a small black dot that shows how there is always a little bad in the good. These two are intertwining with each other and give a simple understanding of the relationship between good and bad.
